Developing and Managing Recreation in Protected Areas Conference

In partnership with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, the Ring of Gullion Partnership, Tourism NI, and Northern Ireland Environment Agency, Sport NI are holding a two day conference in the Ring of Gullion on 22-23rdJune on the Development and Management of Recreation in Protected Landscapes.

This conference will appeal to the following:

  • Policy makers from national and local government for both sport and activity tourism.
  • Elected members from within local, regional and national government.
  • Staff from AONB and NP management organisations across NI, ROI and UK.
  • Members of the Irish Upland Forum.
  • Staff and committee members from outdoor sport National Governing Bodies.
  • Activity tourism providers.
  • Non-governmental Organisations.
  • Local Ring of Gullion based community associations
