Wicklow Uplands To Launch The SUAS Project

WICKLOW UPLANDS COUNCIL TO LAUNCH THE SUAS PROJECT AT A SPECIAL INFORMATION EVENING ON MARCH THE 8th.

[Rescheduled to March 13th, 8pm at the Brockagh Centre, Laragh ]

Members of the Wicklow Uplands Council will meet with representatives of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine on Tuesday the 27th of February to finalise the details of the Sustainable Uplands Agri-environment Scheme (SUAS) project. This pilot project designed to assist hill farming in the Wicklow and Dublin mountain region, was recently announced as one of the 12 successful groups chosen from across Ireland under the new European Innovations Partnership (EIP) initiative.

A special evening information workshop to share the full details of the project and the application process to interested parties, has been organised for March the 8th at the Brockagh Centre, Laragh at 8pm. Expression of Interest Forms will be provided at the event which is open to all wishing to attend.
