An interesting post featured on the Churchmount Sheepdogs blog this week, which shares a recording of 91 year old hill farmer, Jim Nolan describing his experiences with Wicklow Cheviots some 40 year ago.

One experience shared was how Cheviot ewes could ‘snarl’ when someone came close to them, something that Paddy Fanning recently managed to capture on video when he encountered a ewe minding a young lamb.
